So one sitting Congress person had live tweeted the locations of the congress people and Pelosi in particular.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2021/1/10/2008012/-Congress-member-declared-Today-is-1776-tweeted-re-Pelosi-s-location-during-insurrection

Add to that that one of the terrorists had said he was going to shoot Pelosi in the head, it doesn't paint a pretty picture.

Helping out the insurrectionists is cause enough, according to the 14 amendment, to remove her from her seat and never allow her another in the future.

I don't particularly care to comment here, but just for the record. In a few short months I predict you'll know what marxist fascism is all about.  ;)
From who? Trump is not a marxist type of fascist and Biden is right of center. Are Marxist fascist aliens going to come down and conquer the world and implement Marxist fascism?

i predict:

donald trump will be th efirst president in US history to pardon himself.

he will issue a self-pardon that does not specifically list anything he is guilty of, and may in fact assert that he is guilty of nothing, but will point out that he is issuing the pardon in order to protect himself from the lawlwss comminists, socialists, never trumpers, and miscellaneouls deep state actors that have it in for him.

it will have to be issued before 20 january. i think trump will wait ntil he is actually impeached before pardoning himself, but that means that it wil likely be this week anyway.

I don't mean to sidetrack the main topic of this thread, but I'd like to add a small observation on this whole anti-communist rhetoric that is so common in right-wing politics. It's stupid, but effective. On countless occasions I've seen less advantaged people talk about "the communist boogeymen" wanting to take away their measly savings, their beat-up old car or their tumbledown houses and give it to other disadvantaged people. They vote for candidates who are explicitly pro-big companies and against prosocial measures that would benefit the poor. How the hell does that happen?!

Once, while on a bus commute I overheard two young men talking about how the more prosocial Labour Party in here in Brazil made them sick. They were viscerally disgusted and talked on and on about how "all the communists must be put to death" and the far right crap politician Bolsonaro would be the one to do it. I was amazed. Here were two black young men defending an openly racist scum. Two poor young men who were defending a piece of crap who didn't give a damn about their demographic (the majority of Brazilians). Two ignorant young men who could greatly benefit from improved public education. And many other prosocial measures.

It doesn't make sense on a rational level.

You've described so many Trump supporters. It is totally irrational.

Joy! Trump is coming to my state of Texas to crow about his "border wall".  He will be in the town of Alamo which is on the Rio Grande in South Texas (not to be confused with the actual Alamo, which is in San Antonio).  It was the border wall that turned me against Trump to begin with.  I wish I could break away and go down and protest, but I can't.  I'll be so glad when he is gone.  Thankfully, he was not able to destroy the most beautiful parts of the border.

The whole state will need an enema, an alcohol bath, a tetanus shot, and an exorcism after he leaves.  He infects everything.  I can't believe there are still Trump flags in my neighborhood. The cult lives.

The fool with the doofus "shaman" costume has been pulled in. I read that his mom claims he hasn't eaten in custody because the jailers have not supplied guaranteed organic food for him.

Seeing his image repeatedly has lead me to consider the symbolism his costume carries. This is what I have so far: Attached above both of his ears are animal tails. We all know what comes out from under an animal's tail. The cosplay patriot is symbolically telling the world that he's so full of shit it's coming out of his ears.

ETA: He's been in court and the US Marshall Service says that he'll be given organic food, per his request. His mom is mentioned again in the story I read, claiming that he "gets very sick" if he doesn't have organic food.  ::)

That is a Native American war bonnet though, isn't it? They must be really happy he's appropriated it for his circus act.

Organic foods in a pigs ass!  The seditious fool will not get sick if he is given ordinary food that is not labeled (often falsely) as organic.  I have long ago failed my chemistry tests, but "organic" at one time meant that the substance contained carbon.

BF Deal, the new meaning is that foods were grown or nurtured without benefit of fertilizers or  chemicals that God did not ordain.  Organic foods cost a lot more than the foods my ancestors grew and somehow survived upon.

Rescue ua Hermes...... Please help us understand what the term"organic" means in the scientific world.

Dark Lightning

When we go shopping, we always laugh about the produce that is claimed to be "organic". Of course, the chemical definition is that it contains carbon, but the produce definition means that it hasn't had certain pesticides and and fertilizers and so forth applied to it. One of my sons said that he's prefer his produce to be silicic (containing silicon instead of carbon) and the cashier just busted up.

Not the classic Plains Indian war bonnet (that consists of an impressive array of eagle feathers). It is, however, something that a particularly silly shaman or "medicine man" might wear. His people would probably laugh at him behind his back though.

It's completely possible that some European shaman in the dim past wore a smelly confection of similar construction, but yes, if he's trying to evoke American Indian spirituality that just adds to a formidable display of idiocy.
