You know what's scary? It took me a few minutes to figure out this was a joke.

Atheists will no longer be able to claim god doesn’t exist for fear of offending Christians and Muslims, under radical social welfare changes announced by Peter Hain.

This is precisely the situation in some parts of the world. An atheist politician, here, got death threats and was accused of "inciting communal violence" when he said he didn't believe in Hinduism.

I think they've captured the wild-eyed fanatical christian to a tee!
