Ruger 22 rifle.
Perfect starter rifle.

It was fun. I froze my fingers off because it's only 1 degree C with a -7 wind chill.

That's is uncomfortably chilly.

Ruger 22 rifle.

How the hell could you miss with a Ruger .22?

My aim is awful. Plus I ran out of my contacts Wednesday and won't get anymore until Monday. I'm terribly nearsighted. I aw shooting in an open cornfield, with justa watermelon as a target. :D

Bad aim? Go for area damage. Explosives, for instance. You only have to get your target within the lethal blast radius of your whatever-it-is-you-prefer.

Failing that, go for spray, like tec-9 or spread, like a good old sawed-off.

Who needs range anyways?! That's what the ICBMs are for.

Totally understand.  I have a hard time hitting a target with my glasses on, without them the broad side of a barn would be completely safe around me.

Am I the only person on this forum whose never shot a gun?

Asmodean

No, I think you are one of many who haven't, actually.

I own an air soft gun. I don't think that counts, LOL!

But I wouldn't mind wrapping my fingers around a desert eagle. <3

I shot an air rifle when I was in cadets. Does that count?
"We've thought of life by analogy with a journey, with pilgrimage which had a serious purpose at the end, and the THING was to get to that end; success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you're dead. The Asmo doesn't support the Israeli military hardware manufacturers, so he'd go for another disgustingly big gun.

Like this, for instance:

Sweet D - I had to google "airsoft guns" - It's like a BB gun, right?

The closest thing to a gun I've ever shot is a Super Soaker  LOL.  But it was really big!  It had a back pack to carry extra water!

Hmmmm.  I need to get another Super Soaker.  My dad and son are already planning epic water gun battles for this summer......
