Is Libbie wearing Marian Gold's shirt from the big in japan music video during episode one?  :raised:

That's the first thought that popped into my head... I'll update later.

I'm on episode seven, and I have to say it's one of the best shows of it's type I've seen.

The hosts are interesting, REAL people... And that is hard to find on most shows, you either get one or the other!

They're also so far proving to be reasonable, intelligent, and consistent with their message... Which I've NEVER seen on a comparable Christian show, regardless of how fundamental or otherwise that they may be. I'm not saying that TV Christians aren't inteligent, just that I'm not picking up on that.

The topics are interesting, as are their views on said topics. Overall I'd rate the show ten out of ten stars, at least from what I've seen of it to this point.

The technical issues are a bit taxing, but that's to be expected.

We're getting better with the technical aspects, but there is always the problem of poorly maintained, malfunctioning equipment.  The city is talking about eviscerating the SCAN budget when in reality, the place could use a solid upgrade.  Oh how I wish I was rich and patronly.  :)

Anyway, thanks for watching!  Call in this Sunday if you like - we can always use callers.  Here's our latest episode where Mike interviews the awesome Greta Christina.

I hate phones, and talking on them... I never know when it's my turn to talk.  :verysad:

Haha, I understand.  I'm the same way!  Ask GAYtheist, he tried in vain to get me to talk on the phone, I would have none of it.

Here you go, Season 2 of Ask an Atheist, episode 1 - Mormonism.  With the adorable Libbie, or as the internet calls her, The Rack and the adorable Sam, or as the internet calls him, The Tranny.  Damn you, cruel cruel internet!

Also, our show is being re-run on the station, so there will be Ask an Atheist live on Sunday afternoon, then re-run on Monday evenings.  Yay!

Also also, we've been nominated for a few awards, including my personal favorite...best religious programming!  I'll be going to the awards show, so I'll let you all know how it goes and maybe post some pictures.  Especially if I can get one with the crazy conspiracy guy who claims that Jesus' name was changed by the Catholic church so that they could secretly trick everyone into worshiping Satan!  He wears a bullet proof vest everywhere he goes and screamed to me the other day that HE IS A JOURNALIST when a woman wondered into our studio looking for the producer of his show to do a segment and I asked him if he could help her.  A segment on what?  Who knows!  I'm going to assume it had something to do with queers poisoning the drinking water in a plot to appoint green party candidates to key political offices which would ultimately lead to forced labor camps of some kind...

I just watched the last one on blip.tv, and now I'm sad.

It's a great show, really.

pinkocommie

No, I've just been remiss in posting the weekly episodes.  :(  I'll try to catch up later today.

Holy crap, they answered my question! Well, kind of.

I need to get a T-shirt that allows everyone to know that one of my trains of thought ended up on TV!
