Of all the creepy things in that article, this one was particularly illuminating:

The "Mutaween" has vowed to sue two newspaper columnists who have written in Yara's defense, saying: "The Commission has the right to sue the writers because of the lies they are spreading. It gives the wrong idea of Saudi Arabia."

Yowza.  It made we wonder what "rights" the "Commission" would ever feel they don't have?  And what is the "right" idea of Saudi Arabia?

Maybe it's something like this:

It's not allowed for any woman to travel alone and sit with a strange man and talk and laugh and drink coffee together like they are married

Yeah, 'cause then what would become of the world?  :roll:  
That's some scary stuff, man.

On a related topic, I never sit and laugh and drink coffee with my wife even though we are married.  Although, this could just be because she doesn't actually drink coffee.....

I think I maybe able to rationalize buying a motorcycle so I don't use as much gas.  That will stick it to 'em!!

On the other hand, I would be tempted to ride more and burn more of their damn oil thus defeating the 'boycott'.  Damn you to hell, Mutaween!!!  

Shit, there is no hell !   H-bomb is a nice substitute, but I doubt such 'Bush' tactics can wipe out all the extremist idiots over there.
