And since it's bright and shiny and when you turn on the motion feature, the bright shiny things sparkle, glimmer and rotate... it might REALLY amuse you late at night. Heck, it amuses me in broad daylight.
My daughter A helped with this, by telling me which shapes to use - Imagine this sparkling like crazy, shifting and shimmering and moving all around your screen. I saved it, and I'm basically using it as a screensaver now:

Yes! :D As a kid, my Litebrite set was my favourite 'toy'. Ever. And the exact same set is one of my kiddo's favourites, too.
I don't know what it is about light that I'm utterly a sucker for... but I love all kinds of lights, everything from actual stars to bright sun to Christmas lights to Litebrite to programs like this. And photos with light shining through trees, etc. Heck, my favourite artist is Thomas Kinkade, especially his 'Light' series:
