That's awesome! :) Thanks for sharing! The flower's pretty. It's great that it has viable seeds, too.

....did anyone else click on that link, read where it was found, and immediately think 'Scrat from Ice Age'?  :D

Some people have been talking about regenerating mammoths -- I don't want my breath taken that way.

That would be fantastic, there would be ecological consequences though, needs to be treated with much caution.

This is simply amazing. I know that it is still QUITE far off from this, but this just means that there is a possibility to re-establish extinct species of any kind. Imagine regenerating a cave man so that we could possibly exam what we were before we evolved to what we are now. There are so many possibilities to come from this. Go science!
