That would be fantastic, there would be ecological consequences though, needs to be treated with much caution.

This is simply amazing. I know that it is still QUITE far off from this, but this just means that there is a possibility to re-establish extinct species of any kind. Imagine regenerating a cave man so that we could possibly exam what we were before we evolved to what we are now. There are so many possibilities to come from this. Go science!
