I came across this by way of the Counting Thread and it was too funny not to share. The top picture alone is worth opening the link.
New Breeding Program aimed at Keeping Moderate Republicans from Going Extinct (http://www.theonion.com/articles/new-breeding-program-aimed-at-keeping-moderate-rep,27371/)
Quote"While captive specimens tend to be wary around each other at first, once they sense they're both opponents of labor unions yet also willing to make tough compromises on collective bargaining rights, the sexual ritual begins almost instantly."
Did someone say, "breeding"?

Perfect! I love the Onion! ;D
The Onion - Proof there is intelligent life in America!
My Congressional representative recently posted an Onion article about an $8mil Planned Parenthood abortion complex to his Facebook, with commentary indicating he thought it was serious. The article was dated from May last year, so I guess he also thought that such a facility could exist for that long without attracting national media attention. ::)
I do love me some Onion, although I love people's reactions when they don't realize it's satire even more.

That is the really fun bit. First the explosive indignation followed by the "Doh!" moment of realisation!

That's both hysterical and sad.
Where's Firebird? I think he'd get a kick out of this article.
