What special Talents do you have, or talents in general?
For me, it's not special, but I can play a good bit of instruments. I can play the Trombone, Sousafone, Tuba, Baritone, a little Trumpet and I'm learning the Guitar. I can also do math inside my head faster than most people I know.
I have an ability to percieve numerical data in multiple dimensions and create mathmatical models in my head.
I'm good at finding and exploiting people's soft spots, but I don't usually enjoy practicing that talent.
People who listen to me present something say I'm a good speaker, but I'm not sure how large the shares of skill, talent and the lack of nervousness are.
I'm crafty...sewing, knitting, crochet, upcycling old furniture etc. I can carry a tune but am not involved in any choir groups anymore...not many adult options for atheists outside of joining a Unitarian church.

I can pick my nose in 18 languages...19 if you include Klingon.
The friends I use as guinea pigs for taste tests of my cooking have named me The Cookie Goddess. Not sure if this is a talent or just a skill.

Given time to study commercial data relating to customers, products and sales etc. I can start to see the relationships as 3D venn diagrammes and how different factors impact the shapes and interactions. I've always had a very good 3D sense and databases are miltidimentional representations/models of the real world. One example would be cinderblock sales/distribution from various factories around the UK.

Being able to play a whole range of instruments is pretty special, I'd say. Especially brass. I tried learning the saxophone once but found controlling my breathing too difficult. I play pianos/keyboards though. And I really want to get hold of one of these things - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XPfoFZYso8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XPfoFZYso8) - once rumoured to make people go insane. :D And they're pretty cool looking.
Other things I can do:
the splits.
Write fiction, moderately well.
I'm very good at geometrical puzzles, anything that deals with 3d shapes, patterns etc. Stuff like the Rubik's cube, jig-saw puzzles, that sort of thing. Thick as fudge in every other respect though.
I've done the walking over hot coals thing before. Not really a talent since anyone can do it (coal isn't very conductive. It could be a thousand degrees and you'll be fine so long as you don't take too long or stand still) but it
looks impressive.
and that's about it really. :D
I can get up in the morning, get out of bed, and make coffee... USUALLY without tripping over one of my two left feet. ;)

That makes you two functions ahead of my other half ;D
I don't really have any special talents, actually. I'm fairly good at a lot of things, but not like amazingly talented at any one thing. That's kind of sad. LOL
I'm fairly good at: cooking, singing, writing, understanding and calculating credit card fees, and people. I'm good at people.
I can make a proper cup of tea and my grandmother taught me how to make scones when I was a kid.

You have an amazing talent for turning animal heads into Pudding Hats. ;)
I'm not really all of that talented of a person.
Apparently I'm a natural writer (not in the creative sense). However, I only know that from classmates in Comp II going on and on about my ability to write better than them (they said that, not me) when they read my papers and me signing off for my research paper to become a 'sample' for use at the college (at my teacher's request. Not my own insistence. lol).
However, I hate writing papers, so it's sad that has to be my talent.
I like to skateboard and eat hamburgers. I consider both talents, though I am much better at eating hamburgers.

Unless he soon after carried out a recovery with aplomb I don't think he is talented at all.

The man is surely inexperienced in the art of the hamburger. Everyone knows that the hamburger should be greater than the sum of its parts. Clearly, his tomato had no place within the totality.

I can operate a motor vehicle safely while technically still asleep. As evidenced by my 20km morning comute.
Beyond that I speak four languages, play a tasty variety of percussion instruments and kick ass.

How many humps?
*I can knit, but not crochet. This is special because apparently, people claim knitting is more difficult. I disagree on that front.
*I can make Hollandaise sauce from scratch and it tastes better than the packet mix. If you've ever tried to make Hollandaise from scratch, you know why this is kind of an accomplishment.
*I'm excellent at figuring out the end plots of mysteries way before crucial information is revealed. I've won a few bets on TV series endings through this talent. ;-)
And other such stuff.

Ooh! Asmo-shaped cookies. Good, very good. :D
The usual: sing in the shower, fry an egg, fart and blame it on the dogs, piss off my spouse, etc.
In a past life some other stuff which was more coolish.
Did I ever mention that I can whine with the best of them - probably better too..? ???
I don't have one of those encylopedic memories for things in general, but I do for anything concerning the RMS Titanic, including its blueprints, building, launching, passenger lists/crew lists, and other random and very odd trivia. I suppose you could call it a 'talent', as in my spare time, I'm trying to turn it into a book. A book with a plot that hasn't already been done to death, that is. :P
Other stuff I can do: crack my knuckles just by moving my fingers, cook decently (especially A.'s favourite 'pasketti'), write essays, and sing happily but sadly off-key in the shower or around the house.
Well, besides my (war) history geekiness, I'm also a Warhammer 40k fluff-nut and spent more money on 28mm scale miniatures then I care to count...and I still need MOAR! :o (That Chapterhouse Land Raider Pre-Heresy conversion kit...*drooool* I need to have two! Seriously, I have two Land Raiders, and I want both of them to look more PH-ish.... and just 25$ a piece, a bargain, if you ask me!)
Also, there are a lot of "You know when you play too much 40k when..."-threads around the forums that us players/hobbyists gather but I think this tops all:
QuoteYou know you play too much 40K when you use your own blood as paint, im a little guilty, cut myself while assembling a wave serpent, ran out of blood red halfway through so i just used my blood, hurt pretty bad too.
And you know when you play too much 40k when the first though you had was "Did it work!?" after reading that... :o I don't think it would, but I'd be interested to see the results. A whole new meaning to "Blood for the Blood God!" ;D
