Title: Dad tries to sell son on Facebook
Post by: Sandra Craft on January 11, 2012, 01:47:34 AM
Dad tries to sell son on Facebook for $20M (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/10/dad-selling-son-on-facebook_n_1196810.html?icid=maing-grid7%7Caim%7Cdl4%7Csec3_lnk1%26pLid%3D1263400)

All the obvious problems and objections aside (because there are just too many of them), my questions are 1) why Facebook?, and 2) why $20 million?  The first sounds like it's just asking for trouble, and the second is pricing the kid right out of the market.

Thank goodness Facebook didn't exist when I was a kid.

There were times when my parents would probably have paid somebody to take my away  :D

This sot of thing goes on all the time in China with some people who can't have kids buying the 'spares' of people who have more than one.

The Asmo would be safe - he's impossible to sell.

We could have a Dutch auction, start at $20 million.
There could be a lonely Egor out there who has just lost their master with that kind of money.
If the Dexter people need a new Dexter they may snap you up.
I can see you doing that intro with the bacon and eggs.

Hmm...  ???

The Asmo does need an Egor, doesn't he?

What would you want with one of those?

Get guardians in stead. Twice the battle potential and only half the crazy.

Two completely different pieces of an evil puzzle.

You don't have to settle for one.
I'm all for multifarious minions.
