Hello. New member. My wife and I self-identify as being Agnostic but am in practice closer to Athiest. I have two sons, 18 and 19, who are both Agnostic. We also have a 6 year old daughter.
Trying to stay sane in a decidedly religious country. That's why I'm here. We live in Columbus Ohio, which is less crazy than Utah but much crazier that Austin.
So...hello.
Whoops, double posted trying to put in a signature.
Welcome!

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the background. Seems we are a minority everywhere in the world.
Hi - welcome to the forum! Another midwesterner - I'm outside Chicago in Illinois myself - there are no less than 50 churches within 10 miles of my home, almost all Catholic. At least they're not evangelicals!
Welcome!
Welcome to the forum, fancyjamtime.
Is that jam the kind you spread on toast or the kind you dance to?

Welcome to the forum...I was going to ask if you figured out how to add a sig to your profile but can now see that you did.
"Welcome to the forum, fancyjamtime.

It's a line from the movie "Mother". Middle aged guy moves back in with his mother after a divorce. She gives him lip for buying a 9 dollar pot of jam at the supermarket.
"Mom, it's the 21st century. It's fancy jam time."
I've decided to live my life like it's fancy jam time.
Ahhhh, an Albert Brooks quote. You are quite the renaissance man, fancyjamtime!
