Robin Lim was named CNN's Hero of the Year. Although all I've read of her work so far came from the article, she absolutely deserves this recognition. Simply put, she runs a free clinic in Indonesia which provides free prenatal care to women in need. I absolutely want to know more as soon as possible. :)
Although discussion like this could end up being less than laid back, the purpose of my post is to point out the refreshing fact that there's still good being done. Although its clearly happening somewhere, it's outstanding to see something like this on the front page of a major news site for a change. I think one of the big problems in the world is the gloom and doom everywhere.
So, even though I'm not of drinking age until March, here's to giving. Cheers!
