this is my first post to this site which forums or topics can i post on to get to my 10 post milestone .
Hi! You can post whatever you please, I suppose, as if it is unsuited for this section, it will be moved and you will be able to continue the convo after achieving the ten posts.
However, it would be more prudent to stick to the Getting To Know You zone - there is a lot that can be said here. We can discuss fuel ignition systems, for instance. Or pumpkin pies. Or wabbajacks. I just got me The Wabbajack in Skyrim.

Sweet! :D And yes, just go around the getting to know you forum is a great way to get your ten post. There are a lot of things you can say here before getting heavily involved in any form of discussion.. Like waht you think about the color blue. What
do you think about said color? ;)
Yes. Very sweet. I've always liked Sheogorath, the Prince of Madness in The Elder Scrolls games, and it is good to see that Skyrim does him honor. Although the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion was... Priceless.
So, The Wabbajack. Asmo has it, and the Great Wabbajacking may commence. ;D
EDIT: The bottom quote in my sig is from that very expansion pack.

Hi launion, welcome. Mind the Asmo(dean) on your way in though... he's pure evil behind the featureless putty facade.
You could start right here by telling us a bit about yourself. Where are you from and what brings you here? And tell us the meanest thing you ever did to a pet...

FUS RO DAH!!!!!!! ;D And I noticed. Personally, I don't even
own an Xbox, but I pretty much lived at my friends' house who has almost every decent game know to mankind since Tetris. Yeah, the inventory goes that far back. So I have access to pretty much any game I want whenever I'm there cuz they have 2 Xboxes, 4 computers, and a Wii. Gotta love downtime with the guys. :)
DERAIL ALERT

Well hello thar. Welcome to our little forum. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Yup. A friend (Guardian85, actually) shared with me earlier today. I think she would be very decent even without the voice effects. Now, all I need to do is train MY vocalist in the language of the dragons ;D

Training me while you're at it wouldn't be a bad idea... ;)
How in the world did we get on the subject of video games?

Blame the Asmo. He started it! ;D
Actually, being a Heavy Metaller, I am not much of a voice coach - the vocalist I use is many times the singer I am as it is. However, I often use synthesizer-generated sounds in order to demonstrate what I am looking for in the vocals.
In this particular case though, the guy's just shy and not comfortable using a language of fiction, one he knows nothing of to boot... Wait 'til he hears that I want him to do one in Fremen too when the time comes! ;D (That, by the way, would be my cover of Inama Nushif, originally composed by Brian Tyler and sung by Azam Ali)

Probably can't keep up because I have no idea what you people are talking about. XD

Singing. Songs. Songs and Wabbajacks. No great mysteries here.
Alright, back on track now. 8)

Awesome. Am also a HM'er in the makings. Sound is just not quite edge enough yet, though my screamo has gotten tons better. Not nearly as whiny as it was b4. Just need to add some edge to vocals, since my lyrics have no spine whatsoever.

The utmost appreciation, Sir Lumpy. :)
I used that vid to learn some techniques I use on my backing vox... I don't think it is in production any more, but one can always acquire such through... Other means. ;D
Very nice to be able to scream and growl through a piece of lyrics without hurting oneself and coughing blood and collapsing lungs :P

Kyehehe. I know what I want for Christmas now. :) And I know how I'm gonna get it. ;)
Welcome!
Adding to the derail: I haven't reached Skyrim yet, still playing Oblivion, but that singer is really good!

Yeah I didn't ask Asmo if I could quote him on that one (and I hope he isn't evilly plotting my demise for that slight misdemeanor)...

I don't think he'll mind. He probably thinks it's honorable to be quoted. :)
That's what I'm counting on, but those grey lumps...you never know ;)
Haha. Yeah, I know what you mean. :)
Hi launion
I can see why I banned your account first time around ;D
The IP address you come in on has a bad history on two of the spam hunter sites I test all new members against. Without posts to illustrate your legitimate interests here I would (and did) ban the account on sight and block the IP.
