Title: A Brief History of Disbelief
Post by: Crow on October 08, 2011, 01:01:07 PM
A very interesting documentary by Johnathan Miller exploring the history of atheism and its relationship with religion. Originally shown on bbc4 in the UK and PBS in the USA. I highly recommend this not just to atheists but to theists as well.

A Brief History of Disbelief (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGq7bzAzFoM)

It is a three hour documentary split into three episodes, all additional links can be found in the video description. Enjoy.

yeah, it's a good programme. It's been quite a few years since I watched it, but from what I remember a lot of episode one seemed pretty pointless and waffly and overly full of philosophical epistemology about what the meaning of the word 'belief' is (which really has nothing to do with the history of disbelief), but the other two episodes were really good
