I imagine Saudi Arabia isn't where Daniel Radcliffe spends his holidays...

The police entrapped the poor guy. I mean seriously, these people are properly mental.
It would be like making a law making it illeagal for a person to fly on a broomstick, and then beheading people who pretend that they can fly on broomsticks.
Prayer is somewhat like casting a magic spell, maybe prayer should be illeagal. Certainly creation of holy water should be, that's just weird and sounds like scary magic. Next thing you know we will have holy water all over the place.
that's exactly what I thought. If Jesus or Mohammed or any other saint or prophet are said have done such things, it's 'miracles' prooving their divinity, if it's anyone else it's 'sorcery' and the work of the devil. The fact that the police deliberstely go out to try and entrap someone for 'sorcery' just shows what a barbaric form of Islam the super orthodox Saudi's practice. Hopefully one day they'll look back on these times the same way we look back on the Dark or Middle Ages, when Christianity had all the power in Europe and the religious authorities did similar things.
Well... There is civilized world and then there are places like that. Over here, for instance, you can cast spells, blaspheme and drive-while-woman unpunished by police, government or the gods (Odin and his crew really don't give a f**k). All that is expected in return, really, is that you pay your taxes.
Did he taunt his executioners saying it's only a flesh wound?
Did the beheading stop him casting his spells?
If it did he mightn't have been the real sorcerer at all.
So the real sorcerer is probably still out there somewhere.
More work for Saudi authorities I fear.
.... Ugh, I hear about stuff like this and I have to check it's still 2011. Why are these places so ass backwards?
I kind of REALLY wish they'd cease to exist...
