fairy tales the lot of them, probably made up by the Jesuits. They seem to be his choice of scapegoats for making up this fantasy that the Earth is round and it rotates around the Sun and is more than 400 years old! Apparently in the 18th century Jesuits were often seen out with spades planting bones and fossils to support their outlandish claims. I think they even sent a mission out to Eagypt so they could build the pyramids and then claim they were built thousands of years earlier by fictional 'ancient Egyptians'.

it's 2.30pm and it does seem it here, but it's grey and overcast so I can't see the Sun. Therefore it may just be possible that the Jesuits have their giant floodlights out above the clouds and it's really nightime and I'm being duped into thinking it's daytime.
