I was wondering if anyone was attending or planning on following this event? I came very close to going this year, but I have to go to Chicago for work right at the end of the time frame, and just didn't want to be away for two weeks right now.

I have friends that go each year and plan to go eventually. It's just kinda expensive with hotel and food on top of the registration; but I've been told it is worth it.
I think they broadcast some of the talks live; right?

Frankly I think it would be great fun to go along with a rubber duck each and if Mabus turns up, thrown them at him :D
I'd prefer not to, actually. Perhaps I would be more at home en el gulfo de mexico. Fishing for deep sea bass and reading up on ancient history. Perhaps monastic inter-religious dialogues and wave dynamics. I do not tend to love skepticism meetings.
They usually upload them to YouTube, so I'll be watching it there.
Never heard of it, but will keep my eyes peeled in the future.
