The Sunset Limited is a HBO film starting Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson, it is easily one of the more interesting films I have seen in a long time with the acting and script being phenomenal (especially towards the end of the movie).
Two characters are thrown together under unusual circumstances with there worldviews totally conflicting, the film is about black and white, god and science, mystery and nature, criminal and academia, poor and wealthy. I highly recommend.
If your in the UK and have a SKY subscription you can watch it on the SKY Player.

Thanks for the tip. I'll watch it this evening.
Great movie. My wife didn't like it, because nothing blew up. In fact, the two characters never leave the room. No flashbacks, no cut aways, nothing. Just two guys having a 90 minute conversation. And it held my interest the whole time I watched it. Actually the three times I've watched it.
I also enjoyed this movie. Not sure about the ambiguous ending... Still not 100% sure what the very end was supposed to convey, but an incredible movie for being simply two guys in an apartment the entire time.
