An interesting History Channel series that gives an interesting perspective to the bible: the military adventures of the Hebrews after they leave the land of Egypt under Moses and on to the bloody reign of David. Sure the style of the series is "300-ish", so don't expect any in depth accurate battle maps, just interesting dialogue with non-stop action.... but it's still pretty good.

I haven't watched these yet so I can't speak specifically on them. However, I'll just say you have to be careful about the History channel. They often buy documentaries that present conjecture and even lies as facts, such as the guy who traced the ten plagues of Egypt to a volcanic eruption in the Mediterranean, or the one about "new evidence" that "proves" the Shroud of Turin was from the time of Jesus. Ancient Aliens is a great example as well.
It's a good series, at least they're entertaining to watch.
