Title: The Process of Belief is an Elixer when your weak
Post by: Dai on September 05, 2007, 01:11:25 AM
"I guess I'm full of Doubt, so I'm gonna have it out with you"

Sorry, Been listening to ALOT of Bad Religion.

Greetings and salutations, from Iraq of all places!

My name is Dylan. I am a twenty two year old American soldier.I am airborne ( I jump out of planes),  I am stationed in Colorado, but am currently at the tail end of a deployment.

This is my second deployment.

I have been an atheist for about two years, and straight edge (I don't drink, smoke, etc) for about 5 years. I have a huge interest in politics, and plan on being the President some day. (No one ever tells me that I don't dream big :D)

I am a huge fan of music, mostly in the rock side of the house, but also touching on the old country side. Also, I have a very strong love of cats and kittens. I have seven tattoos, but plan on getting many more.

I am also a very proud, outspoken Atheist.

I am a bit mad in the head, but I'm alright. I look forward to meeting and talking to you all.

That would be so awesome, to have an atheist president! Now if only most of the US weren't religious people who couldn't find it in their hearts to vote for an atheist president. I read a statistic about a month ago that 55% of americans said they would never vote for an atheist president. I wonder what that stat is in Canada... I want a strongly atheist Prime Minister *pout*

welcome!  My dad was retired AF, so it's nice to see a serviceman here.  So much for the "no atheists in foxholes" BS, eh?  (You KNEW someone would say it, right?)  And if you run, I'll surely be paying attention!

We all go a little mad...but most of us don't jump out of planes for a living!  Be careful over there.

A man in uniform who loves kittens and tattoos...if I weren't married (and old enough to be your mother) I'd be salivating right now.

Welcome to the forum!

Dai, when you are back in the DFW area and if you are interested, we (as in other people organize and I participate) have put together a little meetup group...I think you are the only member right now that would be potentially close enough to participate at some point now that Squid moved to a different city.
