Death Anxiety Prompts People to Believe in Intelligent Design, Reject Evolution, Study Suggests (http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/03/110330192201.htm)

QuoteScienceDaily (Mar. 30, 2011) â€" Researchers at the University of British Columbia and Union College (Schenectady, N.Y.) have found that people's death anxiety can influence them to support theories of intelligent design and reject evolutionary theory.

Existential anxiety also prompted people to report increased liking for Michael Behe, intelligent design's main proponent, and increased disliking for evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins...

I suggest reading the whole article before responding as there is more to this than meets the eye.

So far no, I don't suffer from Death Anxiety, can't say that will be the case if I get any warning of the actual event though  :D
