Hi all.
I discovered this forum about a week ago, and I am really enjoying reading what everyone has to say. I joined because I have always been very hesitant to call myself an all out atheist because I felt too uninformed to make the decision. All I have ever known for sure was that nothing that I had ever been told about religion made sense on this planet, which, as far as I have seen, is ruled by physical, ratonale things. I am reading Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion," which is pushing me farther and farther towards being comfortable with calling myself an atheist, and what I hope for in joining this forum is to gain enough knowledge to finally unsnag by pant leg from the fence of agnosticism and fall completely into atheism's backyard.
Looking forward to having my suspicions verified.

Welcome! I've yet to read the Dawkins book... just haven't found or purchased it yet, but plan to. Right now, I'm reading some Robert Ingersoll essays and LOVE them! Look forward to hearing more from you!
