So, time to make my long overdue introduction. Yes, I have been lurking around for some time now, and even openned an account (to tell how much I've used it, before I made this post I spent a good 5-10 minutes trying to login... :yay:
So what's there to know? I live in Finland, I got a pretty religion free upbringing (we never really talk about religion at home. I guess we have an unspoken agreement that that if you believe, you believe and If you don't, don't). My grandmother was quite religious (passed away back in 1998) and did drag me to church. Once. *shrudder* Oh, and there were those camps in Ohtakari (part of the longest sand beach in Europe, too :P
And I''ll be doing this :yay:
And laugh at the whacky religions.
Edit: Damn it, not again. I tseems that the comic page that was showing just a moment ago has (again) been replaced by that...space whale...thingy. Well, anyway, here's a link to the comic I originally posted: Gone With The Blastwave: 13. Cool (http://www.blastwave-comic.com/index.php?p=comic&nro=13)
Edit 2.0: ....the page is showing again...I wonder what the hell is that damn whale thing. It happened on another forum I was too.... :bananacolor:

Thank you. Nice to be here.
Also, I just noticed, I forgot to add that I'm still (manly) giggling about an incident from last october...I think. Anyway, basicly what happen was that people from the chruch, a politician I think and someone else were on a discussion show (nothing like the ones in the US with huge crowds at the background, just dry debate and discussion about a given topic). That time the topic was the homosexuals and how the church reacts to them (this has been on the table for a couple of years now, but there really hasn't been any big discussion about it until now). Long story short, the result was that the female politician said some pretty old fashioned statement about gays and the end result was that literaly thousands of people left the church almost over night. Now imagine that happening in the US

Nice. Thanks for the link.
Hmmm. I'll have to see if I will. I could just mostly answer to some of the questions that they asked in the other thread, though. Still, it was a day of great merriment for me to see how many people decided that "That's it, go f*ck yourselves, you religious fanatics! I'm outta here!" :brick:
