hey, new here. been an atheist for years and been through the various phases that come along with it. looking forward to lurking for a while and maybe posting a little. thanks for having me, this place looks promising!

Hi Ped,
I'm hoping to have found a good spot to post, as well. I've been lurking about recently too, on a variety of forums, trying to find a new home -- rather like Christians, I suppose, trying out new churches.
When you spoke of going through different phases were you referring to episodes of doubt -- ie. questioning your belief in God and/or questioning your atheism? If that's what you mean I once did a lot of that myself.
I'm hoping to have found a good spot to post, as well. I've been lurking about recently too, on a variety of forums, trying to find a new home -- rather like Christians, I suppose, trying out new churches.

Hi Cycel. no not episodes of doubt, just various degrees of militantism and all that.
