A new controversial billboard reads "Christians Are Jerks". But guess what! It's not an atheist billboard. It's a Christian billboard (http://www.cnn.com/video/data/2.0/video/living/2010/10/15/christian.billboard.hln.html).

The Christ Covenant Church in Beaumont paid for the sign along the I-10 near College to acknowledge its failures to the local community.
"How do we tell this community that we want to be different? This is like our mea culpa. We know we've failed," said Chris Beard, the church's lead minister.
The billboard is meant to direct people to a website about a new sermon series, "What a Bunch of Jerks: Teachings of Jesus too often ignored by the church."
Christ Covenant Church has a 150-person congregation and was formed when a Church of Christ merged with an independent church in 2004

I just find it amazing that they'll protest an atheist sign that says "Don't believe in God? You are not alone" but are cool with being called jerks by other Christians.
