So, here I am. I'm sure you were all waiting patiently for me to register and post an introduction thread here -- well, you do not have to wait any longer!
I'm assuming that my back-story is one of the more common ones: I'm a fourteen-year-old who was raised Christian, but recently has rejected all religious belief in favor of atheism and secular humanism. I'm actually still trying to raise the courage to tell my mom I'm an atheist (I'm pretty shy), though I think she suspects that I at least doubt Christianity.
I look forward to participating in this community!

I'll bet your middle name isn't Leslie though
Being 50 and English that's a legacy from my Dad, BTW the girls version is spelt Lesley.
There's too much seattle in this forum. Come to think of it, there's a lot of seattle on a lot of atheist forums. Must be something in the water.

Now that you mention it, that aroma does waft all over the sound. It might not be the water after all.
LegendarySandwich hmmm
You could be entering my field of strangeness.
But that's OK, there's plenty of room.
Welcome
Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. Well, I told my mom I was an atheist, and she wasn't surprised -- probably because of the sort of looks I give her when she mentions god. It's pretty obvious that she thinks I'm going through a phase, and I only "think" I'm an atheist. And she still forces me to go to church, tithe, and all that good shit. I wonder what her reaction will be when I eventually prove her wrong.

I just had one early this week.
barbece chicken and bacon, with spicy tortilla sauce topped with minced dill for dipping.

Did it need the bacon?

Hiya Sammich.
My favorite legendary sandwich was from the now-defunct Mac's Hoagie Hut: prosciutto, Genoa salame, mortadella, mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, red wine vinegar and oil, and black pepper, with some pepperoncini on the side.
People always seem to be fascinated by my username. I guess that's a sign I should keep using it.

Who doesn't like a legendary sandwich?
The sandwiches I remember most fondly were steak sandwiches.
I had them on Good Friday a couple of years in a row.
I got them on the way to the mighty Murrumbidgee for a few days kayaking.
Forbidden sandwiches taste good.
On my other forum we've got an epic burger, but the legendary sandwich is more legendary. I personally like a good reuben.
I'm a Kraut, but I hate sauerkraut. Go figure.

I don't mind it when it's fried.

Can you think of anything that *doesn't* need bacon?
Welcome to the forums, sammich.

bro...... I'm offended.
even ice cream needs bacon.
I don't suppose you guys buy the bacon that has most of the fat cut off then?
i exercise enough to where I don't have to worry about fat content and stuff like that.

Assuming you bacon in moderation somewhat. Your muscle content helps, too.

Do you think you will always keep your level of activity?
Do people plan for a reduced activity level and a world of trimmed bacon?
Do you foresee a time when your bacon will be trimmed?

I foresee a time when my sausage will be swallowed.

TheWilliam FTW!
More bacon, more belly.
More belly, less pork.
Good lord, Puddin'Head, you need some good biscuits and gravy made with bacon. It will save your soul.
Welcome.
Yes, it took my mother a while to accept that I am not religious.
