I don't find Ali G or any other SBC character to be funny at all. I know, I know - humorless dick alert. I just don't ever laugh when he's on.

Well, his uncle (in another thread i erroneously said he was his brother) Simon Baron-Cohen is one of the most eminent psychologists in the UK.
