I think it would be useful to have a thread where people can post links to articles that they find inspiring and which influence their views in life. This article pretty much sums up the reasons why I am a Christian.

QuoteThere is no neutrality possible when we come to Jesus. We must either worship him or condemn and get rid of him.
This sums up why I can never believe in Christianity. It is an ultimatum by way of a sacrifice which I had no choice in. Even if Jesus was real I would not accept his blood on my hands just because he says I should. I will not have a loaded religious weapon put to my head and be forced to make a coerced decision. If Jesus is really the truth and the light, then why rely on such a flaccid and wicked method of conversion and retention? Why should we be forced to accept that which we personally had no hand in doing? Why should I feel guilt for his death? Should a decedent of slave owners feel shame and responsibility for the actions of his ancestors? If you want some recommended reading that will challenge your beliefs (I don't see why you wouldn't if you on this site) then go here:
