Just putting this out into the world and hoping someone bites:
One of my postgrad courses for second semester Linguistics is Linguistic Approaches to the Study of Narrative. I've chosen to look at agency in conversion stories for my research later in the course, but before I shape my project I need to know what the availability and accessibility of material is.
I'm thinking of looking at Atheist deconversions (I have plenty of those from RichardDawkins.net converts corner) and comparing agency in them to the agency found in conversions to Christianity. The conversion narratives are meant to be in the form of a story, but finding long lists of stories for Christian converts is nearly impossible. I've been Googling till I'm blue in the face but I'm not getting anywhere.
If anyone knows of a website which lists Christian conversion stories in a similar way to Atheist deconversions in the converts corner, please reply to this thread, email me (kelltrill@gmail.com), or tweet me kelltril (http://twitter.com/kelltrill).
