I was just checking this out on friction.tv, and its become such a big issue in the UK lately, i was  wondering what you guys thought about it? I know its a two sided thing, but i really dont think i agree with it, more time should be spent on renewable energy sources.

Just thought I'd make the link easier and note what your post was about.

I would imagine Britain has enough nukes plus the US would add theirs so that there is no real argument replacing Trident is a matter of deterrence.

We do need some way to deter these idiot terrorists who have dangerous religious beliefs that dying is a good thing. But I can't see that more nukes are going to deter anything.
