So... this is a new take on it for me. It's not that you're GAY... it's that you're having sex outside of marriage (which can only be between a man and woman). Ah, crystal clarity ensues!

Are all their other students' parents married....to each other? I'm betting they'll have very few students left if they follow this track logically.

Yeah, I'm sure they have signed statements from every parent that they are only having sex within the confines of holy matrimony, or not at all.

I am the nephew of a lesbian, and her partner. They have a daughter. They are all Catholic. I have a feeling they would be sickened to read this. I know it makes me sick.

They're still upset because, according to the Bible, Jesus was often mistaken for a lesbian.
I hope that they have succeeded in alienating the parents and the child. Maybe they'll spend their Sundays doing something constructive instead of wasting their time in church.

If one day even the Catholic Church recognizes gay marriage, I sincerely hope that communities like ours have grown to the point where enough people will start asking the question: If the "word of god" can change so drastically simply by humans deciding that it does, then why call it the "word of god"? If this then is merely the words of man over thousands of years, why call it god?

You know ... I just realized no one here has made this comparison. So how hypocritical do the Catholics need to be? It's wrong to have a child with 2 mothers attending catholic school when we all know little billy in this girls class will probably get diddled by one of their priests.
