Yesterday, for the 4th time we (ATHEISTS OF FLORIDA) went to speak at the Tampa City Council about stopping their prayer ritual (invocation) and this time, out of the blue, we got reprimanded severly about how we do the Pledge of Allegiance.
We had been saying -- and will continue to say -- "one nation, indivisible" (skipping right over the "under God" part), which the city council attorney said was confusing others and warned that it was "unacceptable," "disruptive" and we must stop doing this.
Otherwise, according to Council member Caetano: “WE HAVE GOT TO REMOVE THEM.†He also stated: “IF THEY DON'T LIKE IT, THEY SHOULD KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT."

This kind of thing seems to be happening more and more in this country. .It scares me how intolerant some people are.
