It may sound mushy, but I just wanted to send a big Thank You to Whitney and the rest of the HAF crew, Squid, McQ, Tom, Will and Joe. This place has been an oasis for so many of us and I don't know what we'd do without it. So, everyone who's gotten a little bit of relief, cheer, food for thought or just a plain old laugh out of the over 55,000 posts here, make sure you let the people who make this place possible know that they're appreciated.

Thanks for the compliments. My role in the success of the forum is however very limited. Most of the work is done by the others, while I'm asleep. On my daytime "watch" it is normally very quiet. In any case, the forum can't live without its members, therefore it should be us who'll have to thank you for keeping it such an interesting and nice place to visit.

Everything everyone here has done is nothing other than intellectual awesomeness. You guys only ever treated the users with dignity, fairness and respect, considering how difficult and explosive the subject matter can sometimes be, it is a remarkable testament to your collective humanity. Because of this, it is my only forum of choice and has been for the best part of the last two years.
