Top Gear is strangely intoxicating. I love it more with every show I see. Did you see them race a Bugatti against a jet? Epic.

Yeah that was funny. The Stig "dies" in that one as I remember? This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGUZJVY-sHo) is my favorite. It was posted on another forum I frequent recently. Richard Hammond learns how to drive a Formula 1 car.
My TV is mainly used for watching DVD's. Last TV-show that I watched was the complete Babylon-5 collection (on DVD), which I enjoyed a lot. For the rest I sometimes tune into "Schlag den Raab", "Wer wir Millionär?" and "Das perfekte Dinner". "Das perfekte Dinner" is the German edition of the Channel 4 "Come Dine with Me" show. The show has five (sometimes four) amateur chefs competing against each other hosting a dinner party. "Wer wird Millionär?" is a game show based on the original British format of "Who wants to be a millionair?" And "Schlag den Raab" is a [German] game show featuring one contestant battling against TV personality Stefan Raab (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schlag_den_Raab (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schlag_den_Raab)).

The universe on history channel. I love that show
Lost, Battlestar Galactica and youtube. Anything else i watch will be a film, pretty much. All of my media is off the web. I really really dislike TV and all the cheese it is dripping with.

I've watched the episodes that were aired in America... You say you've seen all but one episode aired where you are. Where is that?
I was intrigued by the show in its infancy. I was worried that it would get really repetitive and predictable.

I live in Argentina. They don't air it here (Maybe if you have directv or something like that...), I watched it online.
I must say the show caught my attention, but if it gets boring, repetitive and predictable, like you say, I wouldn't mind never watching it again.
Dexter, Californication, True Blood, Top Gear, Good Eats, 24 (it takes more suspension of belief than the Bible, but it's suspenseful and goofy fun), Rescue Me, Lost, Mythbusters, Supernatural, Dollhouse, World's Greenest Homes... I think that's it. I generally watch most of them on DVD/BR, though. You've not lived until you've done ~17 hours straight of a season of 24.

I've lately been watching Netflix streaming video via PS3. Just finished watching all the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes TV series this way.

Concur.
I did this with Season 1. I can remember it being about 2 in the morning and I was 3 episodes away from finishing. I was so hooked that I pulled an all-nighter the night before a big presentation at work. I remember thinking, "Ok, it's 2, I have to be up at 5, and each episode is 42 minutes long... that puts me about 4:15... ahh fuck it, I'll stay up all night.

I watched Californication and really enjoyed the first season but Season 2 didn't do it for me, so I never watched 3. I liked how he was a total prick in Season 1, but it got too soap opera-y for me in 2.

Smallville, utterly addicted. When I first discovered it, I watched 4 seasons in about 5 days. The fact that every single episode is the same seems to do nothing to damp my enthusiasm for it. Something bad is going on, Clark investigates, gets his little buddy to perform ground breaking hacking jobs in less than 30 seconds to ascertain all the information he needs, Clark's super-speeds in to save the day, about to lay the beat down on whoever pissed in his strawberries, but somehow, a small piece of Kryponite is involved, sapping him of his super-strength, all looks lost, but it's OK, because somehow, at the last second, the Kryptonite gets safely contained, Clark enables god mode, and fucks up the person he came for.
I am downloading the latest one now (Only 720p HDTV for me), but it is taking soooooooo looooooong.

There used to be a show that started last summer called "The Unusuals" on a Fox affiliate that I got into and then it kept getting pre-empted then I lost track of it after I started working nights during the week.
I think I need to add Law and Order to my list - both SVU and CI. I loves me some sweet sweet D'onofrio.
Doctor Who is the only one I really watch 'religiously', at the moment I'm dying of anticipation for the new season. It's probably the only show my whole family sits together and watches. The great thing is that the series was first revived in 2005 by an amazing guy called Russel T Davis who is an atheist, and now we've got a new writer/producer, Steven Moffat, who's an even more ardent atheist than Russel!
Apart from that I really like any show by the TV critic/commentator Charlie Brooker, his current show Newswipe is showing on BBC4. I also love the political comedy 'The Thick of It.' Those are the shows I'll actually watch on TV when they're on rather than online.

I don't have time for TV anymore. I have to study chemistry religiously if I want to have a chance of passing it. I hear there is an active second hand lion market, and you'll probably pick one up one cheap. Most of them are being offered by deceased estates, which are usually a good source for bargains.

I've never in my life obsessed over a TV show the way I did with Dexter. I started watching it last summer, and the intense cliffhangers would never allow me to watch one episode at at time. I watched all four seasons in a matter of weeks, which caught me up before season five. After having the liberty to watch as many episodes as I wanted in a given day, it was hard as hell to watch the show one week at a time during its actual run on TV.
Other than that, I have seen every episode of the first four seasons of 30 Rock more times than I can count. It's my go-to show for background noise when I do homework since I've seen it too often for it to be distracting. Kenneth Parcell is probably the funniest character ever written in the history of TV.
My default favorite show of all time is The X-Files. I remember going to D.C. in seventh grade and getting all giddy when I would just stand in the same place that I saw David Duchovny stand in some episode or another. He was definitely my first "older dude crush."

How did I neglect to mention Dexter??? Ugh haha. I named my dog Dexter. That show is amazing. Not every season is perfect of course, but season one was possibly the best season of any show I'd ever watched. Definitely hooks you.
Not to get off topic, but have you ever read any of the books? I've only read the first Dexter book, which somewhat correlates to the first season. I've heard the following seasons and books went in two separate directions (which is understandable considering the ending of the first book). I thought Book-Dexter was going to be our same amiable neighborhood serial killer, but he was waaaay more twisted. I do hope to get to the rest of the books after this semester ends.

I've read all the books. You are right that the show and books split after the first book. There are some pretty wide changes. There are currently 4 books, and a 5th planned, to be released this year, I believe. Both versions of the Dexter story are good... in this case, oddly, I prefer the show.
Same, I think by humanizing him a little more for the show, he's just easier to relate to. I couldn't relate to him at all in the book. He's so "killer with a conscience" in the show, and Michael C. Hall is just so darn lovable. All of the [spoiler:1dw585oi]dream telepathy stuff[/spoiler:1dw585oi] in the book was kind of off-putting for me as well.

You should've mentioned that there would be a spoiler there, I was planning on watching it...
I love watching Fringe. Its one of those rare shows that can actually captivate my attention. After countless hours wasted watching pointless cartoons, sitcoms and cop shows I'm now kind of apathetic to tv.
I've always been terrible at following shows as they appear on TV. Usually I'll watch shows via dvd/the internet and get really into them, but the show is either already over or I never bother to stay caught up with the series. House, Weeds, Degrassi, and the Office are all shows that I followed for awhile but gave up on. I still like to watch old episodes though.
I watch reruns of Scrubs, South Park, and Family Guy on tv all the time though, because I can count on all the episodes to be funny on their own.
Hmmmmm....... Weeds, Supernatural, House, Dexter, Family Guy, American Dad, Criminal Minds, White Collar, Adventure Time......all of them. :'(

How do you find time to post here? :D
Love watching QI
Stephen Fry has the greatest ability to explain anything. Just get him on the subject of the morality of religion !!
Most English shows that get remade in the US don't appeal to me, an exception was Life On Mars. It had a better ending than the UK version, but I liked both.
If the series Rake ever passes your way it's worth a watch.
Survivor
Deadliest Catch.
Started watching Survivor at the first All Star episode, haven't stopped watching since. Kind of have withdrawls after each season is over. ;D
Deadliest Catch is a new thing with me.
All the TV I watch in those two shows.
I used to watch eastenders all the time, and then one day I just stopped. I just went off it, totally.
Sons of Anarchy. As my boyfriend calls it my 'Bro Soap Opera'. I can't wait for season 4 to start!
