Are those edible?  And if so how did you do the tie-dye effect on the Fab 4 and the teeny writing on the goodbye/hello one?   You've got some talent in frosting I must say!

thanks, guys.   :)   i cut the sweetness of the frosting a bit by adding some lemonade flavoring.  mmm...i love lemon.

the itty bitty writing was done with food coloring marker.  my skills aren't quite that fab.

the swirly designs on some of the bases are done with flooding icing (a thinner consistency of royal icing).  first you outline the cookie with a fairly stiff line of royal icing.  then you fill it in with the flooding icing; you can add multiple colors, like i did on the lennon glasses, hello/goodbye, and fab four cookies.  for the latter two, i used a toothpick to swirl the colors a bit.  it's an easy trick that can have a big impact.

i'm happy to adopt, but you'll be given chores.   :P

I just got a package in the mail. Yellow Sub, Abbey Road, Let It Be, and Sgt. Peppers! I already had The White Album and Revolver. I could barely contain myself.

(I think I'd still rather have cookies.)

It's good to know there will be smart and well adjusted kids to keep an eye on things after we're gone, especially kids that have good taste in music!  :headbang:

"Lucy Monostone" -> If you don't get it, don't worry about it.  Google: "MPD Psycho"

I just typed it into Wikipedia before, and it brought up the page for MPD Psycho, and I was like "Wait...Japanese manga series? Sounds just Renegnicat's style."
