Very interesting! The funny thing I noticed was how the list influenced my feelings toward certain celebrities that I didn't think very much of. They automatically got a better view in my eyes just for being on any of the lists. That's some serious prejudging on my part. It makes me aware that I am very much influenced by labels still, even though I try to avoid it.
Thanks,
Joe!

Yeppers - I noticed that too... Hard to be objective at times, esp. when things matter...
I still think Ayn Rand and Bjork suck.

I totally agree with you there.
Bjork's music definitely sucks.
Bjork rules, glad to know she's "one of us"...
I wonder who would win in a fight, her or Enya....my money is on Enya to make Bjork "sail away".
I'm guessing you haven't heard Bjork's "Army Of Me"...
thats quite a list there. Kinda nice to see that many out there in the spot lights.
Adam Corolla, if you haven't read his do so. Its hilarious.
Bjork would absolutly win. Have you seen that clip where she attacked the reporter welcoming her at the airport?
Glad to see Janeane Garofalo in that list; I'm a huge fan of hers. (I already knew she was atheist, but I wasn't expecting the webmaster(s) to have remembered her.)
And I like Bjork.
Does anyone read the Sunday Parade magazine? The one last week had Brad Pitt on the cover and he discusses his loss of faith. It sounds like he's still "spiritual" in the "we are all one world and must care for each other" manner, but I was glad to see another major star addressing the issue in a major publication. It's going alongside my Jodie Foster layout in my Belief scrapbook album.

been there, felt that!! same for me, i too, realize it isn't right to think better of atheists than others, to respond to labels, but i catch myself doing it again and again!!!! I fight it too....to no avail.....i still automatically up someone in my mind if i know they are atheists, at least until proven otherwise they don't deserve the extra inner kudo. Keep doing that myself....
And yeah, i agree with whoever said Janeane Garafalo rules! woo-hoo!
I thought Bruce Lee believed in all kinds of supernatural stuff? Are these self proclaimed atheists? Are they just atheist against a christian god? Or was that dragon movie...the one about bruce lee totally inaccurate?
Based on the blurb it seems that Bruce Lee was an atheist, but spiritual in the sense of only being a small part of something larger, e.g. the universe.
Take from that whatever you will.
