Title: a blog debate I'm currently partcipating
Post by: Undecided09 on August 23, 2009, 01:13:10 AM
http://cjreads.blogspot.com (http://cjreads.blogspot.com) is one of the most frustrating blogs I've ever read.

The premise is that this ultra literalist is trying to bully the skeptic into believing. They constantly pussy foot around ideas and conflicts and whenever anyone jumps in, they get shut down as commenters, whether they are skeptics, like me, or atheists or even Christians!!!!

It almost seems like satire.

The owner of the blog, Jamie, is really frustrating, and the other owner, Crystal is just flat out stupid.

They are discussing the Bible in very literal terms as if things like Noah's ark took place word for word as opposed to soemthing more allegorical (which my belief leans) or something outrite fabrication which most atheists believe.

http://cjreads.blogspot.com (http://cjreads.blogspot.com) has them reading the whole bible and they are on Psalms now and as far as I can see I'm jumping in after all the hooplah but boy do these two need to be put in their place!

Love the site, and love the discussions here....much more open and less hateful than godisimaginary.com forums.

Welcome to the forum. I'm not 100% sure what you'd like to discuss in this thread.

I tried to read it   :hmm:  (http://cjreads.blogspot.com (http://cjreads.blogspot.com)) but it doesn't appear to be what was originally described. Just observations about Bible verses. Perhaps the OP was an attempt to fish for readership? Yay for guerilla marketing!
