Has anyone else seen the new commercials from cchr.org?
After seeing one that claims a huge number of deaths from antidepressants, I had to look them up.
Looks like they are affiliated with Scientology.
I've seen a definite rise in Scientology commercials generally, but these I found particularly disturbing (and potentially dangerous).
Can advertisers be held responsible for their commercial content?
Should they be?

I think it's important to notify a broadcaster if they're airing things you believe to be grossly unethical, such as the propaganda from the CoS against legitimate science. If calling a broadcaster can get Dollhouse a second season, I'm sure it can limit the exposure of these lies.

Agreed - next time I see one, I'll make a note of the channel and time.
dangerous stuff,

Absolutely, enough calls and a network will do something. Hell, when Carnivale was canceled after its first season on HBO, there was such an outcry from the fans that it came back for a second season. Same with, as
Will said, Dollhouse, or Jericho. Just be prepared to be ignored.
