I don't get why they would have a buddhist monk. Buddhism is more of a philosiphy then a religion and is not as rigid and dogmatic as the abahamic religions they are also hosting. I would think a better choice for the token non-judeo/christian religion would be Hindoism. Heck can't you be both an atheist and a buddhist? Atheism is not a disbelif of all supernatural events just the non belief in gods. Just doesn't really add up for me.

About the best I would think they could accomplish would be to scare the Atheists into behaving better for fear of khamic retirbution.
