As disaster movies go, this looks pretty impressive. I also like John Cusak. Could be a belter!

Saw a trailer for this the other day. Might be a fun SFX movie but the plot looked a bit daft to me.

I'll always go see a Roland Emmerich film. The science is always obscenely wrong, his characters typically flat and badly underdeveloped, and he's been known to use deus ex machina to keep the "plot" moving...

Oh man, I knew about this from the moment it was mentioned on the ARG thread over on Unforum. I almost shat bricks when I saw how the trailer changed from the simple wave over the Himalayan mountains to what it is now. 2012's been coming up a lot lately and it keep reminding me of that movie. I'm always up for a good end of the world movie, and with the main Idea being the main disastrous thing that have people worried, I'm totally going to see it.

Better than I expected, but still not a good movie. Great visuals, but Roland's usual mix of junk all throughout too. Was worth going to see if you knew what to expect.

I came across people who were commenting on a local news coverate facebook post about 2012....the idiots thought the whole 2012 end times crap was only a marketing ploy for the movie and didn't realize that the movie is the result of idiot religious people (probably like themselves) who like to make shit up.

Haven't seen this movie yet but I'm pretty excited! I didn't know that they actually thought that this is going to happen in real life due to some magnetic something, not quite sure, but will be interesting to see

Kinda bored, no doubt there are many cool action part but story wise is worse.
