Leave it to the BBC to have more details than any US news outlet.
That is horribly sad. He was a very good actor... I remember watching Kung Fu a long time ago. Very charismatic.
I'm confused about ruling it a suicide if he had rope tied around "other parts of his body." They don't say anything was restrained or tied together (hands, feet), so I wonder if this was an accidental thing, like the singer for INXS (can't remember his name now...remembered... Michael Hutchence).
Still, very sad.

Has anyone read this? http://adjix.com/82mk (http://adjix.com/82mk) They claim that the authorities are backing away from it being a suicide and that it might have been a sex game gone wrong because he was tied up in a bondage manner.

Yup, very similar to Michael Hutchence. Autoerotic asphyxiation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autoerotic_asphyxiation) is the term.
It sucks that someone so talented will be remembered for the kink that killed him. Very sad.

Very sad.Well, CNN is still saying suicide as of last night, so I have a feeling quite a few of the other big American news agencies are doing the same. I think in America is it sounds better to people to hear suicide than autoerotic asphyxiation because quite a few of us are prudes.

I was relieved to hear it might have been autoerotic asphyxia gone wrong. In that case he wasn't suffering the misery that drives people to take their own lives, he was just horny.
