I hope Psalm is a troll because if not Psalm is a cockroach. Follow Psalm home and you'll find many more people who are identical. People don't normally get this crazy without a little help. I think this idea would still trouble me even if I were a Christian.

So God went from walking manifest with us in the Garden, to a supernatural burning bush and booming voice, to just talking through a proxy of various men wielding plagues and then miracles, to only appearing as a voiceless shadow on a wall?  Hmmm.  If God were real and wanted to make a point, he'd not be subtle or feeble, unless he wanted so many to doubt him.  And if he wants us to doubt, well, uhhh, we're kind of playing our part, eh?  You know what?  If you honestly believe that was God on that wall, I'm sad.  There'd be no hope for your ability to study the natural world and draw conclusions from it.  But somehow, I think you're a troll.  And if you are, thanks for the help by giving us easy, ridiculous-even-to-most-Christians topics to blow down.  That's how it is now.  If you're a troll, keep having your fun.  If you're a Christian trying to save us, well, uhh, maybe you ought to go to some Christian forum and talk to them about how you tried to saved us damned heathens, but we just wouldn't let ourselves see the light, stupid, proud us.  You're having little luck here from what I've seen.  You say some atheists ask you for information about Christianity, but I'd much sooner trust Godschild, Perspective, Ben-AG, Mbell31, or especially Titan.  There have been even more Christians that have made a better case than shadows on the wall.

Yes, only to those who really want it to be jesus. To other rational folk, it is but a mere shadow vaguely human in form (and only vaguely human in form because we are so used to associating things with the human form).

Besides, how do you know that is the form of jesus? There are certainly no photos to go by. I always thought he would have had darker skin and dark hair because of the area he was born and grew up in.

I'm sorry to inform you, but the bible gives details to Jesus' appearance. and jesus didn't have short hair. so who are you going to believe? modern scientists who claim they know what Jesus looked like.. or the bible? without any pictures or photo's. i would love modern science to display my picture in 2000 years.. i would like to see how close they are.

According to the mythical drivel of your Bible, the apostle Paul actually saw Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 9:1).  So Paul, knew exactly what Jesus looked like.  Yet, Paul also wrote that any man with long hair is disgraceful  (1 Corinthians 11:14).

Why would Paul say that Jesus was disgraceful?

I follow the laws of GOD. Jesus Christ manifest. Jesus set the laws in concrete. Jesus left behind no laws!

Getting a little testy are we?  I know, its a hard job to keep track of all of the lies in the Bible and to try to make sense out of it all.  Yet, you ask me if I am nuts.  Quaint . . .

Again, you "quote" Jesus without citation.  But, lets assume that your premise is true.  That Jesus INTENDED to uphold all of the laws, including those of Leviticus.

I could ask you some personal questions regarding you following ALL of the laws of God, but I won't make this personal to you.  Unless, you really would like to prove to us that you do indeed follow ALL OF THE LAWS.  That would be quite entertaining!!  Assuming that you are NOT prepared to do that, lets just stick with Jesus and christianity . ..  

In the New Testament of Acts, where the Apostles made it clear that Gentiles only needed to the first four requirements of Leviticus in order to gain salvation (including circumcision, which added to the difficulty of converting.  "You want me to do what with what!?!)  Acts 15

Further, Paul was quite clearly anti-nomianistic.  Colossians 2.  Heck, he was even chastised by the other devotees for encouraging this view, particularly when Paul suggested that circumcision was not necessary.  Acts 21:21

See also, Romans 6:14-15 "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace"

Or how about Galatians?  "You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?" Galatians 3:1-5

"Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law." Galatians 3:23-25

There is also the Old Covenant versus the New Covenant . . .

If you are strong enough in your faith to hold onto your faith after bearing witness to everything that contradicts your beliefs your would not be much of a christian would you?

The same applies to atheists, if all it took was a shadow to change the way we see the world, then we probably wouldn't ever have failed to believe in religion.
