Ok I think I'm figuring this out slowly, unfortuately. Just wanted to say Hi, I'm reynolds and hopefully I'll get better at this.

Welcome to the forum. Take your time. Everybody here was new once. Read some other introductions, get a feel for the structure of the forum, read over the guidelines and rules and soon enough, you'll be a pro.

Hi reynolds, welcome to the forum.
The basic structure of forums is that they are divided into categories which are then further divided into topics. At every level there is an option to start a new topic and/or reply to a post. There will be buttons that direct this option towards the top area of your browser (not the very top, but close to it).
The php faq faq.php (http://www.happyatheistforum.com/faq.php) may help you figure out some of the basics but never feel shy about asking for help, there is a small learning curve (esp. for how to use the quote feature). In no time it will seem natural to you.

Make sure you have your cookies enabled. Also, add the site to your white list of safe sites. That should help.
