I have been a free-thinker/nihilist for the past 5 yrs, though I have not read a lot of atheist ideology. However, I just ordered "The God Delusion" & I can't wait to devour it. Anyway, I'm married, I'm a dog lover & I enjoy reading true crime.

The interesting thing is that dogs are inherently optimists. My beagle is always certain beyond a reasonable doubt that he's going to get scraps off my dinner table or when I'm snacking at my desk. I would think that would balance out quite well with a nihilistic master. You and your dog should start a sitcom.
