is this too good to be true?
The way I figure, it's almost certainly going to be cured eventually and we've been concentrating on it very hard for at least 20 years.
It doesn't seem too good to be true, it seems an extreme treatment that's incredibly complicated. Essentially, they wipe your slate clean and rebuild you one cell at a time with stem cells. That's quite a thing.
We need to find a way to grow massive amounts of stem cells artificially for this to be a viable cure for more than a hand full of people.
It looks like it might be legit. More info here:

Has anyone done research into the claim that HIV does NOT cause AIDS? I did a little myself a while back and found it quite interesting. I didn't really find any undeniable proof but the theories were very interesting. Basically its said that HIV is a harmless virus that a lot of us carry (but obviously we are usually not tested for it so we don't know). AIDs is caused by those with a weakened immune systems and messed up bodys through drug abuse, malnutrition, disease, etc... Hence why its found alot among gay's, prostitute's, poor african countries, etc....
There are some scientists who question the link between the HIV virus and AIDS. Prof Peter Duesberg is one of the prominent ones: http://www.duesberg.com/ (http://www.duesberg.com/). I don't know enough about it to form an opinion about who's right.
Aids deniers are morons. I feel I have done enough research to know aids is caused by HIV.
The reason S0cks posted for aids fails even cursory examination, why would being gay or a prostitute weaken your immune system? Lots of people who live otherwise healthy lives ( ie no drug abuse etc ) are struck down with aids.
