Well hello there everyone ^_^
Stephanie is the name, but you can call me Steph if you like.
Ben (Kiros) told me about this site, and I thought that I'd join.
I went to chruch when I was younger, until the age of 4 or 5.
But even then, I realized that I didn't believe in God.
So in that sense, I've always been an Atheist.
My mom grew up Southern Baptist,
My dad Baptist.
But both respect my decision in being Atheist,
Both encouraged me to actually find my own way in life,
Which has been a true 'blessing' = ]
I've lived in a small conservative town my whole life where religion reigns,
So growing up I was often called stupid, dumbass or told I was going to hell by peers... the usual.
But going off to college this year and finding a bigger spectrum of people and beliefs has been wonderful!
I like to dabble in a bit of everything as far as interest go.
I love traveling, reading, writing, swimming and plenty of other things.
Lately I've been dabbling in cooking, so we'll see how that goes
I'm also a Global Moderator on a teen support site at the moment.
Anyway, nice to be here and hope to see ya'll around!

Sounds like you've got some great parents. I'll bet that was an immense help in dealing with the negativity from others when growing up.
