I have not been a member of this wonderful site for very long, but it has helped in more ways than I can articulate. Well, my dad has discovered my frequent visits here and is forcing me to quit my activity on this site. I will be back, but not for a long time I fear.

That's too bad. It is unfortunate that your father cannot have a more open mind about your activities on this site.
However, as I'm assuming you live with your father and must abide by his rules until you are on your own, it's good to hear that you are abiding by his rules.
It's just too bad he cannot realize that there are many many worse websites you could be visiting than one that will help to expand your mind.

I'm sorry that your dad is being unreasonable. I would say to ask him to join so we could show him that we aren't bad people, but I think that he would probably be pissed off at us for talking to you making it near impossible to approach him rationally.

I can understand that if this place was called Angry Atheist Forum, Lewd Atheist Forum, or Hateful Atheist Forum, then there just might be something wrong.
This is a friendly environment where healthy discussion occurs. So far I haven't seen any of the horrifying content that you'd find on certain places on the internet.

This really sucks and I'm sorry to hear it. Eventually, you'll grow up and move out on your own but it's sad that kids have to be subjected to the thought police fighting their freedom from religion.

My dad can get mad at me all he wants, but he can't control whether I am on this site or not. I like this website and I'd rather have him angry at me than give in to religious baloney about atheist websites being evil. Anyways, I think he completely forgot about my visits here.
