Okay so maybe it didn't need to be said, but well, here I go.
I am thankful for space, matter, sunlight, farmers and evolution for the food I eat.
And I am thankful for the internet (or "eenerweb" here in Oklahoma) for it's great and bountiful supply of knowledge entertainment of both high and low quality, forums to post in, and images and ideas to propagate and mutate.
Much happiness to all.
...or, as I like to call it, Happy We-Took-the-Land-from-a-Number-of-Sovergn-People-and-Celebrate-That-by-Eating-Turkey Day!
And a very special Thanksgiving treat from Sarah Palin:

Every Thanksgiving, rather than bowing my head and talking to myself, I call up my favorite people and thank them for all they've done for me. To all of you here at HAF, thanks for giving me a place to vent and share, fellow members of the church of the un-damned. Cheers.

*ahem*
On a completely unrelated note, Micheal Jackson has just decided to celebrate the new year on thanksgiving, and skip christmas altogether, as he is broke, and a lose.
All in favor? *aye*
Curio you read my mind! Thanks for posting the clip!
I made it through 3 minutes and fifteen seconds of that
Asmodean. The obviously fake plummeting buffalo did me in and I was cracking up so hard I couldn't continue the vid. Sorry. I tried to make it through all eight plus minutes.
So what fraction are you guys?
Once again I was annoyed by the comments of Christians insisting Atheists have no one to thank or Christians professing their sorrow that Atheists have nothing to be thankful for. So, of course, I had to write a little piece about it.
Ten Things One Atheist Is Thankful For (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1134492/10_things_one_atheist_is_thankful_for.html?cat=9)
By the way, my turkey was delicious. I injected it with concentrated turkey stock and butter and shoved stems of fresh rosemary into the injection sites. I'm half naive American and I don't mind Thanksgiving, primarily because it has almost nothing to do with its own origin. I'm also a hedonist who loves cooking for people and turkey is tasty.
