Exxon-Mobil has posted record profits, over $15 billion, running past their previous record of nearly $12 billion, set in the 2nd quarter of this year.
So... people are losing their homes and jobs, but the oil companies are thriving.
The same for Shell. They had EUR 10.9 Billion profit
Yeah, I saw this on MSNBC this morning (well, it's either that or Fox News, and my masochistic tendencies don't kick in until I'm already at work).
