Hey there--
I'm Rachel. I'm a 20 year old Computer Science student in Missouri and I've been an Atheist all my life. My mother is an Atheist, and my biological dad is a Mormon, which seems like an odd pairing, doesn't it? Heh.
Anyways. Growing up I was homeschooled, which is pretty tough, considering that it's hard to meet other Atheists in homeschooler groups and get-togethers. ;P
But now I'm a senior in college. Social skills still seem to lack, sometimes.
My main passions are programming and video games. I like making games in C++, and making tutorials on YouTube to teach others about programming.
Anyways. There's always sort of a need to be around like-minded people, or even to have intelligent discussions. I like listening to debates, but I'm no good at it myself. XD
Anyways, good to meet everybody~

I'd say "welcome to the forum" but I still feel too new to do so.
I may have to look them up, I have done some programming in C++ (very early days of OOP) but now prefer to code in python ... you never know though, I might learn something

Have you ever tried to find supporting evidence for this (and for the record I agree that education/intelligence leads to lower levels of belief in mythical rubbish) ... I only asked because I've found it very difficult to support even though I believe it to be so.
